Annotated Information

Name

PSMD6-AS1:PSMD6 antisense RNA 1

Lnc00462717[1]

ENST00000462717[2]

Characteristics

Lnc00462717 is located on chromosome 12 upstream of the MDM2 promoter region[1].

Function

lnc00462717 may function in suppressing glioma cell proliferation, survival, migration and may potentially serve as a novel biomarker and therapeutic target for glioma [1]. lnc00462717 inversely regulates MDM2 expression and plays important roles by partially regulating the MDM2/MAPK pathway in glioma [1].

ENST00000462717 is found to be upregulated in the non-131I-avid lung metastases of Papillary Thyroid Cancer (PTC), and low expression level of ENST00000462717 is associated with better prognosis of PTC patients with lung metastases [2].

Regulation

Diseases

  • Papillary Thyroid Cancer[2]
