Compared with corresponding adjacent, histological normal tissues, MELTF-AS1 was significantly upregulated in human osteosarcoma tissues (P<0.0001).[1] FOXP4 protein is upregulated in osteosarcoma tissues and positively correlated with MELTF-AS1 expression.[1]
Function
Knockdown of MELTF-AS1 inhibits osteosarcoma cell migration, invasion and proliferation. However,knockdown of MELTF-AS1 promotes osteosarcoma cell apoptosis in vitro.[1]
