MAPT-AS1 is an 840 bp lncRNA transcribed from the anti-sense strand of the MAPT promoter region.
The siRNA s237111 can knock-down the expression of MAPT-AS1.The sequence of the s237111 siRNA is described in the table below.
MAPT-AS1 has an inhibitory effect on the expression of a major neurodegenerative gene, MAPT. MAPT-AS1 may serve as a sensitive biomarker of disease state in Parkinson’s disease, as well as a potential therapeutic target for inhibiting the expression of MAPT.
