CCND2-AS1:CCND2 antisense RNA 1
CCND2-AS1 promotes glioma cell proliferation through Wnt/β-catenin signaling and it might function as a potential novel therapeutic target for the treatment of glioma . Knockdown CCND2-AS1 can inhibit the proliferation and colony formation, induce the cell cycle arrest in G0/G1 phase . Overexpression CCND2-AS1 promotes cell growth in normal human astrocyte, and highly expressed CCND2-AS1 could enhance Wnt/b-catenin signaling in glioma .
CCND2-AS1 is up-regulated in glioma tissues compared with adjacent normal brain tissues .
